ITINERARY DETAILS
DAY 01: ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU
Arrive in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meeting assistance & transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 02: FULL-DAY SIGHTSEEING TOURS
After breakfast commence on a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. Morning, visit Old Kathmandu city with its stone paved lanes which includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kumari Ghar, Kasthamandap, Tribhuwan Museum & other temples dotted inside Hanuman Dhoka area. After visit, continue to Swoyambhunath stupa located at hilltop overlooking Kathmandu valley. Swoyambhunath stupa is also known as "Monkey temple" and is popular for view of Himalayas and entire valley floor. Afternoon, visit Pashupatinath temple which is holiest temple for Hindus around the world. Also visit Cementation Ghat located on the bank of Bagmati river. Later, proceed to Boudhnath stupa which is among one of the biggest Buddhist stupa in the world. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 03: DRIVE KATHMANDU/CHITWAN (175KMS/5 HRS). HALF DAY JUNGLE ACTIVITIES
Morning, drive along a scenic mountain highway to Chitwan. Upon arrival check-in at Jungle Lodge. After lunch, commence on a half-day Jungle activities such as Elephant back safari to see wildlife of Nepal. The Chitwan National park is one of the finest national parks in Asia, it lies in the lowlands of south-central Nepal, covering an area of 932 sq. km and is listed a World Heritage site since 1984. It is renowned for its variety and amount of wildlife. It is home for some endangered species such as The Royal Bengal Tiger, One horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Gaurs as well as Sloth Bear, Monkeys and varieties of Deer etc. Overnight at Jungle Lodge
DAY 04: FULL DAY JUNGLE ACTIVITIES
Commence on a full-day Jungle activities such as Canoe ride on Rapti river to see Crocodile & Water birds, Tharu village visit to see their lifestyle, Nature walk and Bird watching to explore more wildlife of Nepal. Overnight at Jungle Lodge
DAY 05: DRIVE CHITWAN/POKHARA (145 KMS/4.5 HRS)
Drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is famous for wonderful views of Himalayas and its snow fed lakes. Pokhara's bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes and surrounding greenery make it 'the jewel in the Himalaya', a place of remarkable natural beauty. With the magnificent Annapurna range forming the backdrop and the serenity of three major lakes – Phewa, Rupa and Begnas – Pokhara is the ultimate destination for relaxation. Pokhara Valley, gateway to the Annapurna region where many a trekker finds his Shangri-la, sits high on the list of 'must visit' places in Nepal. Rest of the day is free to stroll around city. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 06: EXCURSION TO SARAGNKOT & POKHARA CITY
Early morning, excursion to Sarangkot to see sunrise over Mt. Annapurna, Dulagiri massif & Mt. Fishtail (escorted by driver). Return to hotel for breakfast. Later commence on a half-day Pokhara city tour which includes Bindavashini temple, Seti Gorge, Devis fall & Gupteshowr Mahadev cave. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 07: DRIVE NAYAPOOL & TREK TO GHANDRUNG (1900M/5 HRS WALK)
Morning, drive to Nayapool (1.5 hrs drive). From Nayapool trek starts to Ghandrung. Ghandrung is one of the biggest Gurung settlements in western Nepal. From here, you can see the good view of Gangapurna, Machhapuchare (Fishtail), and Mount Annapurna south and other snowy Mountains. If time permits, you have a chance to visit ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) head office, local museum and village. Overnight at Local Lodge
DAY 08: TREK TO TADAPANI (2540M/5 HRS WALK)
Morning, trek to Tadapani. Upon arrival, check-in at Local Lodge. Overnight at Local Lodge
DAY 09: TREK TO GHOREPANI (2874M /5 HRS WALK)
From Tadapani the trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960m). From here you can see incrediable views of Dhulagiri range. Continue further to trek to Ghorepani. Check-in at Lodge. Overnight at Local Lodge
DAY 10: EXCURSION TO POONHILL & TREK DOWN TO TIKHEDHUNGA (1520 M/5 HRS WALK)
Starting early our climb to Poon Hill (3195m) with a brilliant spectacle from this vintage point providing an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. Poon Hill offers the splendid Himalayan views including the Mount Dhaulagiri 8167m, Annapurna I 8091m, Fishtail / Machhapuchhre 6998m, Nilgiri 7041m, Annapurna south 7219m, Annapurna II 7939m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Lamjung Himal 6988m etc. Return back to Lodge for breakfast. Further trek down to Tikhedhunga. Tikhedhunga (1520m) is a small village on the way to Ghorepani. A waterfall can be found along the trail at the north end of the village where the trail crosses the Bhurung Khola. The town hosts a new Secondary School and Trekkers can avail of a number of lodges before making the steep descent from Ulleri. Overnight at Local Lodge
DAY 11: TREK TO NAYAPOOL & DRIVE TO POKHARA
Trek to Nayapool (1 Hrs) to board the vehicle to Pokhara. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 12: FLY/DRIVE TO KATHMANDU
Return back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 13: DEPARTURE TRANSFER
Transfer to Kathmandu airport in time to connect outbound flight.
